School-Based Outreach

School-based services are designed to improve a youth's prosocial skills, helping with motivation, attendance, and academic performance as well in life . This service strives to promote each youth's self-efficacy, competence, resilience, and belief in the future. We serve youth 10-18 years of age / 6-12 grades.

Youth are selected/referred in many different ways: Anyone can make a referral. We work closely with School Administration and Counselors as they select the youth through observations and having knowledge of the behavior modifications- skills that are needed for a change. Also anyone can use the referral form online at jjys@utah.gov to seek help for youth that are in need.
